| REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS with the Akhal-Teke Sporthorse Registry There is now a 50% or more Akhal-Teke blood requirement needed to register as an Akhal-Teke Sporthorse. When breeding a mare who has no Akhal-Teke blood, it is a requirement both in the U.S. and Russia Akhal-Teke Association's that the stallion used be a registered PUREBRED Akhal-Teke (100%), so that the resultant foal meets the 50% Akhal-Teke blood quantum requirement needed to register it as an Akhal-Teke Sporthorse. When breeding a registered Akhal-Teke Sporthorse mare, either a registered purebred (100%) Akhal-Teke Stallion OR a registered Akhal-Teke Sporthorse Stallion must be used to produce a foal eligible to be registered as an Akhal-Teke Sporthorse, AS LONG AS THE RESULTANT FOAL MEETS THE 50% AKHAL-TEKE BLOOD REQUIREMENTS. Other requirements for registration can be obtained by visiting the Akhal-Teke Association of America website. We are currently offering Purebred Akhal-Teke Stallion Service starting at $1100. | REGISTRY REQUIREMENTS WITH THE NEZ PERCE HORSE REGISTRY Horses that are or will be registered with the NezPerce Horse Registry will have no more than 7/8 Akhal-Teke blood OR no more than 7/8 Appaloosa blood. Foals resulting and descending from the exclusive breeding of the NezPerce Tribe's Akhal-Teke or Akhal-Teke crossbred breeding stallions may be registered if all requirements are met as listed in the NezPerce Horse Registry rules and requirements handbook. |
